THE TWO LONE LEAGUE
Always dedicated to the memory of our buddy, Trevor Aston.
Nov 6, 1972 - Feb 22, 2005
It was good to play that fantasy football with you, buddy. You were a hell of a competitor and rightfully have your name etched in the champion's column for as close to forever as your friends can get. We are all going to miss your love of Marshall Faulk, and the Eagles, and we are all better people having known you. Rest peacefully, friend, you will be remembered here always.

*in 1998 the League had ten teams so points are calculated as 1st-10 pts, 2nd-9 pts., etc.
** Doug and Aaron shared a team in 2001, but all-time points stay with the franchise owned by Doug (9 pts for 2001)
*** Pre "Modern" Era, 6 Team League, not counted in official statistics
**** Trevor's 2004 team was by proxy while he served in Iraq. His proxy got him 10th place (3 overall points)
Place average is calculated by dividing point total by seasons in league and then subtracting that # from 12.7 (for those in the league since season I, 1998) or from 13 (for all others).
6 seasons w/ 12 teams (72 teams) + 1 season w/ 10 teams (10 teams) + 7 seasons (addition to determine placement) = 89 divided by 7 = 12.7
TRIVIA
No team has ever gone undefeated. The closest was 1998's HOUSTON'S REVENGE with a 16-1 record, followed by 2003 ALIEN NATION with a 15-2 record.
No team has ever lost all of its games, although the 2004 River City Spanses (owner John Kienast) did not actually win a game. They lost 16 games and tied once (0.029 winning percentage). The tie was with the previous year's last place team, CLAY'S ZEPPELINS.
SPANSE'S winless streak was 20 games and began on 12/22/2003 when he was beaten 119 to 74 by TREVOR'S TITTY TWISTERS and ended on 9/19/2005.
No owner who joined the league after 1999 has ever won the league.
Of the five remaining owners from the original 1998 season four have won the trophy. Only one has not.
